Group A at KODE5 Germany 2010 Regional Finals has finalized – seeing OSLF.dk and Alternate advance to the semi-finals.

Prior to start, the community had nominated mousesports and Alternate to advance from the group, but the Danes in the group wanted it differently. Starting out by taking down Alternate 16-13 on de_nuke, the Danes followed with yet another victory against 2easy4, winning 16-7 on de_train. Alternate meanwhile managed to win the continual battle against mousesports, with a 16-14 scoreline on de_train.

This opened up the group, as the teams are not playing all thirty rounds; it looked as the group would end in a three-way tie. Alternate started out by securing the last three points by finishing off 2easy4 16-12 on de_dust2. Currently topping the group, the Danish team OSLF.dk needed three points to make sure they would advance. Starting as CT on de_dust2, OSLF.dk picked up a 9-6 scoreline. Now playing CT, mousesports showed the CT play they are capable of, locking down the Danes over and over. OSLF.dk found a crack in the mousesports defense and suddenly started taking rounds against the Germans, something mousesports could not cope with. The Danes took their sixth round at the score 15-13, where mousesports simply left the server, as they had no chances of advancing.

2. GermanyAlternate

mousesports are now out of the German 2010 qualifier and will have to look for other pathways in order to qualify for KODE5 2010. OSLF.dk and Alternate are ready for the semi-finals, one of which will be played later today.

Group B is scheduled to kick off at 14:00CET, with the likes of TBH, Cheap Times!, n!faculty and ESC Gaming in action. Stay tuned for more coverage from the KODE5 Germany 2010 Regional Finals, as we continue to bring you updates.
