DreamHack ZOWIE Open Winter 2016 is ready to kick-off as all the details have been set. Eight teams will be fighting in Sweden for their shares of $100,000. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming tournament.
The tournament will start out in the group stages, which will feature the oft-used GSL format. While the openers and winners' matches will be best-of-ones, the decider and elimination matches will be best-of-threes.
The Elmia Convention Center in Jönköping will play host to the tournament
After the two qualifying teams in each group are decided, the tournament will move on to the playoff stage, which will be a best-of-three single elimination bracket composing of semifinals and final.

The tournament will start at 12:30 on November 24 with the opening match between Dignitas and Kinguin from Group A, followed by Cloud9 vs. Renegades, the first opener in Group B. After the other two openers the winners' matches will be played, meaning our first qualified teams will be known on the first day.
The second day, Friday, will feature four best-of-threes: two elimination matches and two decider matches, to close out the group stage. Finally, on Saturday, the action will conclude after the semifinals and finals are played and our victor has raised the trophy.

The talent lineup will feature Sue "Smix" Lee as the stage host, while Alex "Machine" Richardson will be her equivalent at the desk. There, he will be joined by Janko "YNk" Paunović and Jason "moses" O'Toole to break down all the action going on in Jönköping.
Commentating the games will be the duo of Matt "Sadokist" Trivett and Henry "HenryG" Greer as well as Room on Fire's Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat and Vince "Metuz" Hill.
